Job Description LeverageTek is actively seeking an IT Risk Manager for a 6-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer. Work Location The successful candidate will be required to work remotely. The client is headquartered at 150 Slater Street, Ottawa, ON.
Key Tasks Administer and maintain the enterprise IT Risk Register Ensure risk records are complete, accurate, and current Monitor risk mitigation plans and follow up on outstanding actions Coordinate risk management activities across business and technology teams Support governance forums and risk escalation processes Prepare executive-level risk reports and dashboards Analyze risk trends and identify emerging risk themes Develop Power BI dashboards and visualizations Deliver supporting documentation including data models and reporting specifications Promote consistent risk management practices across Digital Technology Services Key Qualifications 5+ years of experience in IT Risk Management, Technology Governance, Audit, Compliance, IT Controls, or Operational Risk Experience managing enterprise IT Risk Registers and preparing reports for senior leadership and governance committees Advanced Power BI reporting and dashboard development experience Qualifications Experience working with ServiceNow, Archer, SharePoint, GRC platforms, or similar tools Strong stakeholder management, coordination, and communication skills Experience within banking, financial services, Crown corporations, or government organizations Familiarity with enterprise risk management frameworks (CRISC, COBIT, ITIL, or equivalent) Experience supporting governance-driven environments Relevant certifications an asset: CRISC, CISSP, CISM, PMP, ITIL, CGEIT, or COBIT-related Compensation Hourly Rate Negotiable This is an existing position vacancy.
