Job Purpose
As a Staff Program Manager, NPI, at VulcanForms Inc., your main objective is to manage one or more customers' portfolio of programs from program award through launch and sustaining. You will partner with VulcanForms internal teams to execute each program and act as the primary working level interface to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage large-scale, complex new product introduction (NPI) programs and/or multiple NPI projects involving internal and external stakeholders
  • Partner with the assigned NPI Lead to support program execution and NPI efforts, ensuring deliverables align with internal and external customer requirements
  • Identify and assess areas of risk, escalate issues in a timely manner, and drive solution development
  • Provide regular project updates (written and verbal) to internal and external stakeholders
  • Define and communicate the program critical path to support cross-functional alignment and focus
  • Support development and tracking of program budgets, including resource planning
  • Collaborate with other project managers contributing to the same program
  • Create and maintain program scope, schedule, budget, and risk tracking tools; support meeting cadence to maintain team alignment and address issues
  • Plan and facilitate customer meetings, visits, and workshops as needed
  • Support resolution of program risks and issues
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience managing complex new product development/introduction projects or programs
  • Strong familiarity with manufacturing process qualification procedures such as PPAP, IQ/OQ/PQ, capability studies, and measurement systems analysis
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including process development, manufacturing, quality, and operations
  • Proven experience managing external/customer relationships
  • Self-motivated with a sense of urgency and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to a range of audiences
  • Interest in the metal additive manufacturing industry and working in a fast-paced environment; startup experience is a plus
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to customers and suppliers, including internationally

VulcanForms offers a competitive salary and equity package. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, VulcanForms provides comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; generous paid time off; and a 401(k) plan with company match.
The annual base salary range for this position is $130,909 to $180,000.
