Job description

Description:

Stacker Operator — Timber Technologies L.L.C. | Colfax, WI

Timber Technologies is looking for a detail-oriented Stacker Operator to join our production team building glulam beams and columns used in construction projects across the region. If you like hands-on work, take pride in doing a job right, and want to build real skills operating precision equipment, this could be a great fit.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6:45-5:15PM

Occasional Overtime on Friday

What you'll do:  As a Stacker Operator, you'll collate and glue plies to create laminated columns and beams, working directly from production sheets to ensure every piece meets our quality standards. You'll run and maintain the glue machine, monitor critical checks like finger joint temperature, moisture content, and glue spread, and keep production moving smoothly from setup through changeover.

Requirements:

What you'll bring:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to read and follow daily production sheets
  • Comfort using measurement tools (tape measure, infrared thermometer, caliper)
  • Experience operating machines with HMI (Human Machine Interface) technology (Required)
  • Basic math skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Powered Industrial Trucks a plus (or willingness to become certified)

What to expect:
This is an indoor manufacturing role with occasional outdoor work. You'll be on your feet for most of the shift (8–10 hours standing), sometimes working overhead, and should be comfortable in an environment with varying temperatures and typical plant noise.

Why Timber Technologies?
We're a growing glulam manufacturer based in Colfax, WI, and we're proud of the products our team builds. This is a place where the work you do has a visible, physical result — real beams, in real buildings.
