Job description

Shared Practices Group is looking for a Sales Development Manager to lead the training, coaching, and development of our Smile Consultant team across the country. This role is responsible for improving sales performance by equipping consultants with the skills, confidence, and tools needed to deliver exceptional patient consultations and maximize patient starts.
You'll partner closely with Regional Managers and Sales Leadership to ensure consistent execution of our consult process while driving measurable improvements in sales performance.
What You'll Do:
  • Lead onboarding and Launchpad training for new Smile Consultants
  • Deliver ongoing virtual sales training, coaching, and role-play sessions
  • Coach underperforming consultants through individualized development plans
  • Review consultation recordings and performance metrics to identify coaching opportunities
  • Reinforce SPG's consult process, including patient education, funding conversations, and closing techniques
  • Partner with Regional Managers to improve sales performance across multiple practices
  • Support new consultants with virtual coaching during their first weeks in role

Requirements
  • 3+ years of sales training, coaching, or sales leadership experience
  • Proven ability to develop high-performing sales professionals
  • Strong communication, presentation, and coaching skills
  • Experience using KPIs to drive performance improvement
  • Healthcare, dental, or consultative sales experience is a plus
