Sr. Analyst, Workforce Analytics
Location: Plano, TX
Schedule: Hybrid, minimum two days onsite weekly, Tuesdays and Wednesdays
Duration: 12-month contract with strong potential for extension or full-time conversion
Pay Rate: $40/hr - $50/hr DOE
Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior Analyst, Workforce Analytics to support enterprise-wide talent and workforce initiatives through advanced data analysis, reporting, and predictive insights. This role will partner closely with HR leadership, Talent Analytics teams, Data Science, and business stakeholders to transform workforce data into actionable strategies that influence organizational decisions.
The ideal candidate is equal parts technical analyst and business storyteller, someone who can dive deep into complex workforce data while clearly communicating trends, risks, and opportunities to leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct simple to complex workforce trending, statistical, and predictive analyses to support HR and business objectives.
  • Provide advanced analytical support for initiatives related to the full talent lifecycle, including hiring, retention, workforce planning, engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Perform large-scale quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify root causes and key drivers behind workforce trends.
  • Analyze HR and workforce data to develop KPIs, scorecards, dashboards, and executive-level reporting.
  • Utilize external market data, workforce trends, and evolving workplace practices to provide strategic recommendations and context around internal talent insights.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and self-service reporting tools that track workforce performance and progress against organizational goals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and prioritize impactful data integration opportunities.
  • Bridge data and knowledge gaps through creative problem-solving, extrapolation methods, and new data capture initiatives.
  • Recommend and support data governance standards to improve data quality, consistency, and reporting accuracy.
  • Partner with Talent Analytics Senior Analysts, Data Science teams, and Data Architecture Consultants to align on project priorities and analytics roadmaps.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into compelling business narratives that support strategic decision-making.
  • Present workforce insights and recommendations to senior leadership and executive teams.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience leading workforce, HR, or talent analytics initiatives within a large enterprise environment.
  • Advanced experience with:
    • Power BI.
    • Tableau.
    • Alteryx.
  • Experience with R, Python, and other statistical analysis tools.
  • Strong experience developing HR metrics, dashboards, and self-service reporting solutions.
  • Proven ability to work with highly confidential and sensitive workforce data with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong background in data gathering, cleansing, validation, and quality assurance.
  • Experience working with both quantitative and qualitative data sets.
  • Strong understanding of statistical methodologies, workforce metrics, research methods, and analytical techniques.
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex quantitative findings in a concise and actionable manner.
  • Prior experience presenting insights to senior and executive leadership teams.
  • Strong consulting mindset with the ability to โ€œtell the storyโ€ behind the data.
  • Excellent project management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Naturally inquisitive with a passion for uncovering insights through analytics and data exploration.

Preferred Background:
  • Experience supporting enterprise HR, People Analytics, or Workforce Planning functions.
  • Familiarity with data infrastructure, data modeling, and enterprise reporting environments.
  • Experience collaborating with Data Science or Data Engineering teams on analytics initiatives.
