Job Description and Responsibilities:
The SQA Manager Manager is responsible for the overall management and success fo the testing project. They are ultimately accountable for managing all testing efforts and corresponding team members per engagement. The role involves quality and test advocy, resource planning and management, resolution of issues that impede testing efforts in addition to the following:

  • Providing Pre-Sales support and initial analysis of the client engagement requirements.
  • Crafting the Statement of Work (SOWs) and Software Quality Solutions, meeting client engagement needs.
  • Ensuring scope, cost, schedule, and resources meet contractual deliverables.
  • Service Level Agreement(SLA) oversight, building client relationship and new business development.
  • Build engagement teams, managing staff and ensuring resource coverages for all assigned engagements.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for the clients and resolve critical situations through effective communication with clients and internal project teams.
  • Actively lead regular reviews with the client ensuring all delivery commitments and deliverables are provided to the client as per the contract.
  • Analyze complex situations and recommend solutions to the client.
  • Provide technical expertise, training, and mentoring to the Software Quality Assurance delivery team.
  • Strong management and leadership skills with particular emphasis on collaborative working with the client management team.
  • Develop standards and best practices to improve efficiency and overall quality of work delivered by the team.
  • Collaborate with management team to develop and execute plans for continued growth and development of the services organization.
  • Supports the client needs: system, user interface, test-tool introduction, test planning, tester supervision, cost, progress status reporting, etc.
  • Experience with System Development Life Cycle models (Waterfall, Rapid Application Development, Spiral Model, Agile, etc.) required.
  • Working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, consultative skills.
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written.
  • Self-motivated and ability to motivate others.
  • Ability to build, develop and lead a team to meet aggressive project timelines
  • Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures for full product development life-cycle desired.
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, organize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to effectively present to and interact with all levels of management.
  • Highly adaptive and flexible to a changing environment.
  • Project management and escalation management skills.
  • Should have excellent organizational, time management and customer relation/communication skills.
