IDEALFORCE has a CONTRACT position available immediately for a QA Analysts to join our customer in Oklahoma City, OK. This is an ONSITE position. Please find below additional details about this job. Client is considering only LOCAL CANDIDATES for this role

Job Description

Software Quality Assurance Analsyt is needed to provide expertise and proficiency in the evaluation and testing of multiple software systems for the OSDH.



-Interpreting business requirements

-Creating and executing test scripts

-Reporting bugs and making recommendations for resolving software defects. 

-The position will research, learn and apply best practices to the software development quality assurance process, support the development team, and become an expert in hands-on software testing. The OSDH anticipates the following existing systems requiring the services of an SQA Analsyst to include: Oklahoma State Immunization Information System (08115), Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), Interoperable Public Health Information System (IPHIS), WIC EBT System (Electronic Benefits Transactions), and the Public Health Investigation and Disease Detection of Oklahoma (PHIDDO) System. It is expected additional systems will be introduced during the contract period requiring staff augmentation. The exact number and nature of such systems is unknown at this time.

-Create and execute test scripts, cases and scenarios; c

-Conduct all types of application testing as needed including system, unit, regression, load, and acceptance testing. 

-Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and system users in the testing of software programs and applications; 

-Will analyze test results in order to discover defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws.

-Adhere to the tracking process and monitor bugs so that resolution progresses in a timely manner. 

-Position will also ssist in the identification of new procedures, methods and/or tools to improve the efficiency of the QA process. 


Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Management, Accounting, or a Healthcare related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one additional year of qualifying experience for each year of the required education. Experience in a Public Health or Healthcare field is preferred.
