Delivery Manager Overview

UST is searching for a professional, self-motivated individual to fill the role of Delivery Manager. The Delivery Manager will schedule all inbound/outbound shipments, provide leadership to our warehouse team and contractors, and strive tomaintainexceptional quality standards.This employee will oversee back-of-store operations with our client and warehouse operations for a newly starting warehouse.

The successful candidate will alsobe responsible forprioritizing tasks to meet expected shipping dates andmaintaininga positive working environment. If you havepreviouswarehouse leadership experience and work well in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.


Compensation: $70,000-$90,00

Responsibilities

(include, but are not limited to)

  • Completes and manages weekly reporting anddeadlines
  • Ensures the loading of all trucks isaccurate, efficient, and exceeds qualitystandards
  • Keeps customer service and shipping quality as a top priority
  • Manages a support staff depending on thelocation
  • Manages deliveries for the warehouse and back of stores
  • Monitors KPI's to ensure a healthy and efficientoperation
  • Oversees dispatch, claims management, DOT compliance, and invoices/settlements
  • Oversees the warehouse that manages all trucks in the market
  • Recruits andretainsdrivers and warehousestaff

Requirements

  • Ability to be available on an on-callbasis
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
  • Ability to work some weekend days andholidays
  • Clean MVR, criminal record, and drug screen
  • Higher education and/or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and inventory management software
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Minimum of 5+ years leading people and operations
