Job description

This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.

Do you have a knack for helping hospitality organizations achieve their technology goals? Spectrum is hiring a Vertical Account Executive, Hospitality to consult with new and existing clients, recommending tailored solutions that drive efficiency and enhance guest experiences. By building strong relationships and leveraging your consultative sales expertise, you will play a key role in accelerating growth for both Spectrum and the hospitality providers you serve. 


How You Will Make an Impact 

  • Cultivate new opportunities and consistently meet monthly sales quotas with fiber and coaxial solutions for hospitality clients 
  • Apply or learn hospitality procurement processes to navigate complex sales cycles 
  • Conduct consultative needs analyses and develop client-focused product solutions 
  • Design and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to highlight Spectrum’s service benefits 
  • Self-generate leads through calls, premise visits, networking, and industry events 
  • Qualify leads, request site surveys, and submit ROI analyses to sales management 
  • Maintain accurate account records in Salesforce and ensure seamless handoff to the Account Management team 
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Sales Support, and Marketing to maximize sales outcomes 
  • Attend sales meetings and training sessions to enhance your expertise and stay informed on industry trends 


Working Conditions 

  • Office-based environment with regular travel to assigned territories and company facilities, including during inclement weather 
  • Use of reliable personal vehicle required 

What You Will Bring to Spectrum 

Required Qualifications 

Education 

  • High school diploma or general education degree required (GED) 

Experience 

  • 3+ years of sales experience with a record of exceeding revenue quotas 
  • 3+ years of telecommunications-related sales experience 
  • 2+ years of experience selling data, voice, cloud, or video solutions

Skills 

  • Read, write, speak and understand English 
  • Efficiency in meeting deadlines and working within a team 
  • Quick learner who applies new knowledge effectively 
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed 
  • Valid state driver’s license and safe driving record  


Preferred Qualifications 

Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field 

Experience 

  • Experience working within the hospitality sector 
  • History of selling data, voice, or video solutions in telecommunications business-to-business sales  

Skills 

  • Positive attitude, strong self-motivation, coachable mindset with an entrepreneurial spirit 
  • Aptitude for learning Spectrum’s product suite and sales style 
  • Industry knowledge and ability to adapt to change 
  • Networking and negotiation skills

A qualified applicant’s criminal history, if any, will be considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws, including local ordinances.
The base pay for this position generally is between $47,800.00 and $79,100.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
In addition, this position has a commission earnings target starting at $72,600.
