Description:

Summary: The Special Service Coordinator will coordinate all employment related services for individuals with disabilities who are referred through Arkansas Quality Therapy Co. Those duties include but not limited to ensuring all employment related meetings are kept timely, Pre-Employment Training/Vocational training is executed timely with all clients, and follow-up is maintained to ensure consistency and progress throughout the transition.

Essential Duties:

  1. Answer referrals in writing (by email) to Arkansas Rehabilitation Services
  2. Schedule meeting with the client to discuss employment goals/career paths
  3. Assist client with all employment related paperwork and packets
  4. Update supervisor throughout all developments
  5. Submit timely monthly report to supervisor by the 1st of each month
  6. Submit timely reports to all employment related agencies as required
  7. Coordinating transportation services to all clients for employment related services
  8. Provide pre-employment training (i.e. soft skills, resume writing, job application, etc.) at minimum once every month, but as often as necessary
  9. Ensure that all clients of AQT who are interested in employment flows through proper channels at Arkansas Rehabilitation Services, Workforce Services, Ticket to Work, etc.
  10. Ensure the Supported Employment policy in the CES Waiver Manual is followed (see attached)
  11. Assures that all personal rights of the individual are maintained, including freedom of provider choice, civil, and legal rights.
  12. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
