Job description

We are looking for an experienced Solar Sales Assistant for a California-based company providing turnkey solar energy solutions, including Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC), along with permitting and maintenance to enhance sustainability, located in Alhambra, CA. This is a Hybrid job.

Ignite your passion for renewable energy and lead the charge in transforming the solar industry as a Solar Sales Assistant! In this dynamic role, you will drive growth by developing innovative sales strategies and building strong customer relationships.

Duties

  • Generate new leads through door-to-door outreach, community events, and digital campaigns.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with prospective clients by providing expert guidance on solar system options, benefits, and financing opportunities.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction through transparent communication and tailored solutions.
  • Conduct technical sales presentations, demonstrating the value of solar energy systems to diverse audiences.

Experience

  • Proven success in outside sales.
  • Background in marketing strategies, including door-to-door outreach and community engagement initiatives.
  • Experience working with an interdepartmental team in a startup environment.
  • Excellent negotiation skills paired with customer service expertise to build trust and foster long-term relationships.

Compensation: $23 - $27/hr

Salary range includes a monthly base salary plus commission incentives. $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

$3k/month base salary + 2% quarterly commission of total team sales. Opportunity also for commission on solar system projects (outside of parts sales) = 3% total project cost on signed contracts and/or 1% total project cost for referrals resulting in signed contracts. Based on qualified projects only. Solar battery storage sales experience preferred, Sales/account management experience preferred
