Job description

Responsibilities

  • Candidates must be based in an East Coast location, and this will be a travelling role covering the East Coast location
  • Review solar PV system designs and operating systems for quality and compliance
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and evaluations of PV and storage systems
  • Analyze system data and troubleshoot existing or potential issues
  • Support commissioning activities, including thermal imaging, insulation resistance testing, and reporting
  • Review low voltage, medium voltage, wiring, control diagrams, specifications, and data sheets
  • Coordinate with engineering and inspection partners to ensure project quality standards
  • Travel throughout the East Coast region for inspections, commissioning, and troubleshooting support

Requirements

  • Experience with solar PV systems, including design, installation, inspection, or O&M
  • Strong understanding of LV/MV systems, civil and structural plans, DAS, and communication networks
  • Familiarity with central and string inverters, PVSYST, and Helioscope
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, MS Teams, Smartsheet, Procore, and Monday.com
  • Clean driving record and willingness to travel up to 75% across the East Coast
  • Candidates must be based in an East Coast location
  • Engineering degree or equivalent field experience preferred
