Journeyman Education/Experience:

  • A high school diploma with a minimum of 6 years of software development experience
  • OR
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in STEM with a minimum of 2 years of software development experience
  • OR
  • A Master of Science degree in a STEM field with 0 years of software development

Sr/Principal Education/Experience:

  • A high school diploma with a minimum of 9 years of software development experience
  • OR
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in STEM with a minimum of 5 years of software development experience
  • OR
  • A Master of Science in a STEM field with 3 years of software development experience

Required Skills:

  • Full Stack Software Development
  • Demonstrated experience in Java
  • Proven experience with Windows OS
  • Familiarity with relational database management systems (Oracle/PDBs) and SQL

  • Constellation West is looking for a Software Developer to develop, create, and modify general computer applications software and specialized utility programs.
  • The ideal candidate has ability to analyze user needs and develop software solutions, design software, and customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
  • Must also have the ability to analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
  • Must demonstrate a broad skill set balanced between interpersonal and technical capabilities achieving sustainable quality products.
  • Show a track record as an effective communicator and problem solver who is able to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • This role will participate in the entire software development lifecycle with a concentration in software engineering.

    • Complete work independently and as a part of an Agile team
    • Support team in completing necessary software on schedule
