Meadowview of Clive, a Cassia community, is hiring an Executive Director, LALD to deliver quality and compassionate care to our residents in Clive, IA.If you're looking for a supportive team and a place to grow your career, this is your opportunity. As Executive Director, LALD, you'll oversee daily operations, foster strong relationships with residents, families, and staff, and ensure compliance with housing and regulatory standards. We're looking for a thoughtful, mission-driven leader with prior senior housing or assisted living management experience.
The successful candidate will preferably have at least 0-3 years of previous experience in senior housing, assisted living or long term care administration. In addition, a BA degree related to long term care or housing, current knowledge of assisted living regulations, basic knowledge of computer hardware/software and excellent oral and written communication skills are required in this position.

Executive Director, LALD Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional leadership to the team through positive engagement between staff, residents, families, and guests.
  • Oversee staff development, hiring practices, in-service training sessions, performance feedback, and promote a strong teamwork environment.
  • Support the initiatives of the Sales and Marketing Director to attract potential residents that will meet or exceed occupancy and service-offerings expectations.
  • Maintain on-going liaison relationship with communities, businesses and educational institutions to enhance Meadowview of Clive
  • Maintain and manage state and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Participate in development of strategic long-range plans for the community and our organization.
Executive Director, LALD Qualifications:
  • BA or BS degree in Health, Gerontology or Business Administration or other related field.
  • Previous experience in business management, emphasis on property management preferred.
  • Active Assisted Living Director (LALD) or Health Service Executive (HSE) license with BELTSS
  • 0-3 years experience in senior housing, assisted living or long-term care preferred.
  • Understanding of Assisted Living rules and regulations
  • Demonstrated success in creating a flourishing senior healthcare community.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
  • Positive interpersonal, communication, & financial management skills.
  • Outstanding time management experience along with excellent communication, organizational and computer skills.
