What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects. This involves setting project timelines,allocating resources, and tracking progress against milestones.
  • Provide technical guidance andexpertise to the development team, helping to resolve complex technical issues and ensuring that the team follows best practices and coding standards.
  • Championing AI Engineering by encouraging the team to inject AI across the entire SDLC to drive efficiency gains.
  • Improving system performance and reliabilityand conducting code reviews andmaking technical contributions.
  • Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, budget, and time, to ensure that projects are completed on schedule and within budget constraints.
  • Identifypotential risks and challenges in software development projects and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Continuously assess and improve software development processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency, quality, and scalability.
  • Ensure that software development activitiescomply withrelevant regulations, standards, and security protocols.
  • Ensure that software products meet quality standards and customer requirements by implementing rigorous testing procedures and quality assurance processes.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, including clients, executives, and other departments, to understand requirements, provide updates on project status, and manage expectations.
  • Stay informed aboutnew technologies, tools, and trends in software development, and assess their potential impact on current and future projects.
  • Address conflicts and disagreements within the development team or with other stakeholders in a constructive andtimely manner.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software developers, ensuring they have the resources, support, and direction needed to meet project goals.
  • Foster a collaborative and communicative environment within the development team and across other departments such as product management, quality assurance, and operations.
  • Evaluate the performance of team members, provide feedback, and implement strategies for professional development and improvement.

What You’ll Need to Join Our Team
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer scienceor related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years in leadershiprole.
  • 7+ years of engineering experience.
  • 8+ years of leading the definition and development ofmulti-tierweb services experience.
  • Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networksdevelopment life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and live site operations.
  • Provenexperience withC#, Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • Provenexperience withAzure cloud architecture (App Services, Service Bus, Azure SQL, and related services).
  • Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (Azure DevOps, TeamCity, Octopus).
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g.,Claude Code).
