Description

SAIC is seeking a Software Development Team Lead with to lead a development team supporting the Pending GSA Fleet program. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with team management responsibilities.

This position is expected to be remote but may need to be onsite in Washington, DC when required.

This role is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading or coordinating development efforts within Agile Development teams or working individually when needed.
  • Acting as an expert in developing software applications and microservices.
  • Analyzing user needs to design and implement effective software solutions.
  • Ensuring the team effectively adopts and utilizes agile development methodologies.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree and 10 years of relevant experience.
  • 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing applications and microservices in an agile environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading a team in an agile environment.
  • Experience developing AWS cloud-native solutions and containerized microservices based architecture.
  • Experience developing applications in a DevSecOps environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, Vue.js, Angular and SQL.
  • Demonstrated experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Mongo DB.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
