  • Remain hands-on, contributing to the design and implementation of critical system components
  • Coordinate integration and testing activities with DevOps engineers and test teams
  • Prepare and present technical briefings and status updates to program stakeholders
  • Ensure correctness, validation, and traceability of data transformations across system boundaries
  • Drive long-term maintainability, consistency, and evolution of the CDS software architecture
  • Provide critical evaluation of design approaches and implementation decisions, ensuring alignment with architectural goals and long-term maintainability

    • Strong experience developing software using modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, or similar)
    • Experience designing systems that process structured data formats (XML, XSD, DFDL, JSON, fixed-width, or binary encodings)
    • Experience using Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines
    • Experience implementing automated testing strategies including unit and integration testing
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
    • Demonstrated ability to make and defend architectural decisions in a collaborative engineering environment
    • Experience working in Agile development environments

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Experience supporting DoD or other government software programs
