Position Overview

Amatriot is seeking a .Net Team Lead to support a government contract located in Arlington, Virginia. This position requires on-site work and supports the critical mission of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) by leading a software development team responsible for building applications that support law enforcement operations.


Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership
  • Lead a team of 5–7 developers supporting the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) mission.
  • Guide the team on technical decisions, best practices, and development efficiencies.
  • Lead technical planning meetings.
  • Conduct peer code reviews and final code reviews.
  • Support the modernization of software development practices.
  • Apply modern software development techniques for a modular system.
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of software before deployment to production.
Collaboration & Communication
  • Demonstrate professionalism, strong conduct, and effective execution in a client-facing role.
  • Collaborate effectively with leadership and customers.
  • Ensure Requirements Analyst data is accurately reflected in the appropriate system of record.
Software Development
  • Develop software using recent experience with C#.
  • Develop software using recent experience with JavaScript.
  • Develop and maintain web applications using CSS.
  • Work with relational data models and SQL.
  • Utilize XML and programming libraries for XML manipulation.
  • Participate in Agile projects utilizing Team Foundation Server.

QualificationsEducation
  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
Experience
  • Minimum 15 years of web development experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of .NET Core/.NET Standard development experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of ASP.NET C# MVC web development using Visual Studio 2017 or later.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience with Agile development methodologies, including participation in sprints, backlog grooming, and Agile ceremonies.
  • Experience as a developer in a software environment supporting more than 10,000 users and a relational database management system (RDBMS) containing more than 250 tables and more than 1 million total rows.
  • Experience in at least one software development environment with a minimum of 1,000 automated unit tests.
Skills
  • Recent experience with ASP.NET MVC web development.
  • Significant recent C# development experience.
  • Significant recent JavaScript development experience.
  • Significant development experience with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
  • Experience with relational data models and SQL.
  • Experience with XML and XML programming libraries.

    • Displaying and placing map markers on satellite imagery.
    • Using distance measurement tools within a web browser.
