B/E Aerospace, Inc. d/b/a Collins Aerospace has an opening for a Senior Manager, Software Development in Winston-Salem, NC. This is a hybrid position; must work 3 days per week out of the Winston-Salem, NC office and can work remotely within the U.S. 2 days per week. 10% national and international travel to company sites.

What YOU will do
  • Ensure production support and enhancements are provided timely with high customer service satisfaction and focus on the support of the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne(E1) CNC system, including being the Architect of the JDE El CNC and security system along with architect for Tidal, DSI and SOTI application at the company.
  • Responsible for designing the server architecture of DSI System integrated with El, JDE World; building DSI Servers by installing, configuring the DSI Software on Windows Server Virtual Machines 2022; responsible for certificate bindings for DSI Mobile Platform and IIS configurations; and apply the Hotfixes to the DSI MEP Software and Installing EPP.
  • Lead the project top converting job scheduler Tidal to RTX Redwood Runmyjobs automation software.
  • Lead the project for converting the DSI-SAP programs to ITS mobile for Collins Interiors sites and deploying ITS mobile at those sites.
  • Develop DSI inventory and warehouse operation Applications using DSI Application Studio, which is integrated with JD Edwards Enterprise One, JD Edwards World.
  • Lead the project for upgrading the on premise SOTI version to Collins Xeta Cloud. Lead the project to convert heritage UTAS handhelds devices on Avalanche to SOTI on Xeta Cloud.
  • Perform all security set up thru All Out securities, User set up, Role Relation, Add/Update Security record in and out User and Role Management support/maintenance also updating Security Matrix In JD Edwards Enterprise One system JDE E19.0.
  • Perform JDE CNC activities for all the clients like Package Build (Full/Update),OMW promotions and administrations, applying ESU/ASU, JDE securities, JDE User Profile Setup, JDE Role relationship, Adding/Updating UDCs, Adding DD items, Creating Custom copy environments, Supporting Web servers (Web logic, WebSphere, Oracle Application Servers) , Managing OCM , Troubleshooting End Users issues (like trouble getting in JDE Local Web, Password Reset, JDE Id Locked out/Disabled), Installation of Fat Clients, JDE Data refresh, JDE Health Check Up, DE Allowed Actions and Activity rules, Adding Data Source, Chang/Mapping Database Data Source, JDE Clean Up etc.
  • Standardize inventory management, pick-pack-ship processes across warehouses globally using DSI, where applicable.
  • Support and maintain JDE ERP instances for interiors SBU within Collins Aerospace and implementing enhancements to the existing JDE instances to support customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze existing programs or formulating logic for new systems, devising logic procedures, preparing flowcharting, performing coding and testing/debugging programs in JD Edwards Enterprise One, SAP and DSI. Solve daily Production issues in DSI Integrated with all three ERP i.e., JDE World, El and SAP (Inventory and Warehouse Management Module).
  • Responsible for training user personnel in conversion and implementation of systems like JD Edwards Enterprise One, DSI integrated with JD Edwards Enterprise One ME World and SAP. Responsible for the server maintenance of the DSI software, health checks of the servers, apply patches to the DSI software, Enterprise Platform Printing (EPP) Software, involving guiding the Business users through issues related to network communication ,addressing data elements and availability use of data collection devices, troubleshooting servers and system services, security and various other configuration or environmental issues that may impact DSI Mobile client communication with DSI servers.
  • Develop Handheld devices (Android, IOS, Windows) specific customized scripts to automate repetitive tasks in MobiControl (SOTI); configure DSI Mobile client on Handheld devices using SOTI and creating scripts to secure the devices as per company security policies; and create script commands for Android Enterprise Managed Devices.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Must possess at least a bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Computer Science or a related field and 10 years of progressive experience as a Software Developer or related role. In the alternative, at least a master's degree or its equivalent in Computer Science or a related field and 7 years of experience as a Software Developer or related role would be acceptable.
  • Must possess at least 7 years of experience in Oracle JD Edwards Enterprise One Development toolse i.e Form Design Aid, Report Design Aid, NER and C Business function, BI Publisher.
  • Must possess at least 4 years of experience developing complex DSI programs that integrate with JDE World, EnterpriseOne and SAP (IM/WM module) for standardizing inventory processes in warehouse, which includes maintenance of DSI infrastructure including upgrades to DSI MEP 9.0.
  • Must possess at least 3 years of experience working in SAP IM/WM functional module having knowledge to implement ITS Mobile application.
  • Must possess at least 3 years of experience developing customized scripts to automate repetitive tasks in MobiControl (SOTI) MDM to manage wireless handhelds.
  • Must possess at least 2 years of experience developing JD Edwards EnterpriseOne published and consumer Business services using JDeveloper.

The salary range is $148,242.00 to $250,000.00 USD per year. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
