Job description

Builders is actively seeking an energetic, assertive, and driven Project Manager to lead software projects from concept to launch. This role requires a proactive leader who is excited to head cross-functional teams, challenge assumptions, and hold everyone accountable to ensure the delivery of high-impact solutions.
Your role:
  • Lead and manage multiple software development projects, taking full ownership of release management and agile ceremonies
  • Develop clear Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and successfully break them down into actionable user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria
  • Coordinate actively between engineering, design, finance, and operations while pushing teams to optimize current processes
  • Proactively identify project dependencies, mitigate risks, and manage trade-offs in a fast-paced environment
What you bring:
  • 3-6 years of experience managing software development projects with a deep understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Scrum
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze processes, author thorough PRDs, and map out detailed user edge cases and "what-if" scenarios
  • Experience working with APIs, cloud services, modern software architectures, and basic AI tools
  • Experience working in a regulated industry with an understanding of risk and data privacy (a baseline understanding of HealthTech or medical regulations is highly preferred)
  • Ability to work 5 days per week in-office in Calgary, AB
