Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead meetings with stakeholders to focus on business process (re)definitions.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions that detail pros, cons, and risks.
  • Document the results of business process reviews, develop, and communicate optimization strategies to team members and management.
  • Capture use cases and collaborate with stakeholders to iteratively define user stories and priorities.
  • Translate technical complexities to project stakeholders, ensuring understanding of design decisions, as well as translating functional business requirements to the development team.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in iterative sprint planning and execution.
  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of ITAM functionality to support business area requirements.
  • Define milestones/schedules and manage delivery in accordance with stakeholder expectations/requirements.
  • Coordinate releases with the PST.
  • Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
  • Promote continual process improvement.

REQUIREMENTS:

ServiceNow Skills shall include the following:

  • Expertise and proficiency in the Now Create methodology.
  • Expertise with applicable Now Platform components and IT Asset Management functionality.
  • Expertise with the ServiceNow platform and how to effectively integrate ITAM functionality.

General Business Analyst Skills shall include the following:

  • Expertise with requirements definition to ensure stakeholder needs are captured and effectively communicated to developers/administrators.
  • Experience with software development lifecycles (SDLCs), including DevOps, Agile, Lean, Iterative, or Waterfall.
