This is one of the busiest and most respected emergency departments in Central Texas. With Level II trauma designation, high acuity, specialty support, and a location in the heart of South Austin, this site consistently attracts top EM physicians.

  • 36-bed ED within a 250-bed hospital
  • Level II Trauma Center with dedicated trauma support
  • Approximately 86,000 annual visits
  • 63 hours/day physician coverage (overlapping schedules)
  • 50 hours/day APC coverage
  • 2.0 to 2.3 patients per hour
