Change Makers LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students and families to determine their social, emotional, and psychological needs, using a trauma-informed care approach.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to each client’s unique challenges.
• Develop and implement personalized service plans that align with clients' goals, ensuring access to appropriate resources and interventions.
• Actively advocate for clients’ rights and access to social resources, addressing barriers to social justice within the education system.
• Participate in program development and evaluation, including data collection and grant reporting to secure funding and enhance service delivery.
• Collaborate with community-based organizations, school staff, families, and volunteers to enhance support for clients and ensure cohesive service delivery.
• Engage in team meetings and training sessions to promote continuous learning and best practices in social work.
• Contribute to outreach initiatives aimed at raising awareness about available services and promoting mental health education within the community.

Your primary focus will be on students and their families, encompassing a diverse range of backgrounds and challenges, including those facing socioeconomic hardship, mental health issues, and trauma. Your advocacy will extend to marginalized groups within our community, ensuring that all individuals receive equitable support and resources.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is a prerequisite for this position.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required to practice in the state of Nevada.
• Demonstrated understanding of social work principles, effective communication skills, and a commitment to ethical practice.

• Experience working within a nonprofit organization or educational environment is preferred, providing insight into the unique challenges faced in these settings.
• Familiarity with advocacy principles, trauma-informed care practices, and community resources to effectively support clients.
• Strong organizational skills to manage case documentation, reporting requirements, and program evaluation processes.
