Position Overview

Change Makers LLC is seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments that accurately identify the social, emotional, and psychological needs of clients involved in school systems.
• Provide individual and group counseling services using evidence-based therapeutic techniques, fostering a supportive and transformative environment.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate personalized service plans that align with clients' goals, ensuring responsive and effective interventions.
• Advocate vigorously for clients' access to resources, their rights, and important social justice issues, liaising with community organizations and government agencies.
• Contribute to program development, data collection, and grant reporting to enhance service delivery and organizational funding.
• Participate actively in team meetings, professional training, and community outreach initiatives, fostering collaborative relationships with stakeholders.

Client Population / Client Focus

The primary focus will be on children and adolescents in educational settings, alongside their families. You will engage with clients facing a variety of challenges, from mental health issues to social determinants of health, ensuring a comprehensive approach to care that promotes well-being and academic success. Your work will be crucial in helping these individuals overcome barriers and achieve personal growth.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of social justice principles, trauma-informed care, and community resources is essential.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and organizational abilities to effectively support diverse client needs.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working within a nonprofit organization or in a school setting is highly desirable.
• Background in advocacy and community engagement activities will be advantageous.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic methodologies and best practices in social work.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD $75,000 to $100,000 annually, in addition to a sign-on bonus. Comprehensive benefits include:
