Job description

Production Worker

We have 30 plus years in business and have established ourselves as one of the premier Steel Service Centers in the industry. We process high quality slit, tension leveled and cut sheet steel in a wide variety of types including cold rolled, hot rolled, galvanized and aluminized products. Current pay rate for this opening starting at $22-26.00 per hour.

WHAT DOES THIS JOB ENTAIL?

We need talented experienced employees with steel slitting or cut to length machine experience.

Ability to run a crew safely. Good work ethic and attitude. You will be working in a manufacturing environment and will be required to operate various equipment and forklifts.

IS IT RIGHT FOR YOU?

2-5 years previous experience in the Steel industry is preferred.

Ability to work rotating shifts.

Ability to lift-up to 30 pounds unassisted, stand for 8 hours/day and walk, sit, stand, bend, scoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

Must have good work ethic, good attitude and willing to learn.

Willingness to perform any other duties as requested by the Supervisors.

Operating processing equipment efficiently and safely.

Ensuring product quality.

High School Diploma or equivalent

Excellent attendance record.

Must pass an alcohol/drug test and have clean criminal background.
