Job description


As a Director in our Work, Rewards and Careers practice, you will collaborate with some of the industry's top consultants while you develop deep and cutting-edge technical knowledge and skills. You will manage consulting projects while providing input to senior colleagues and overseeing and quality-reviewing junior staff's work. You may also serve as project lead on projects of smaller scope.
Our Projects Range in scope from specific solutions to broad cross-LOB engagements, such as support for M&A transactions, total rewards strategy and optimization. In addition to broad-based compensation consulting, we support clients across a range of work and career-focused disciplines, including:

You will also participate in and contribute to activities that support continued revenue growth of the Work & Rewards line of business and WTW overall. These activities may include supporting local, regional and/or national marketing events, performing industry/topical research and developing intellectual capital, and participating in our firm's industry and/or topical teams.
While every day and assignment are somewhat different, some of your main responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering effective, consistent project management for multiple, marquee clients.
  • Drafting statements of work, project plans and budgets involving multiple workflow streams and client teams.
  • Serving as the day-to-day project lead, ensuring progress of the team against established objectives, budget, timeline, deliverables and quality standards.
  • Leveraging to and managing the work of junior staff, providing coaching and on-going feedback.
  • Operating as the key contact to clients on delivery of services; managing client expectations and raise appropriate issues to Senior Consultants.
  • Collaborating and contributing to the development, design and implementation of compensation and related programs.
  • Contributing to the development of new tools and approaches.
  • Supporting the generation of new business as part of the broader team by: Assisting with new business development activities, participating in discovery discussions with prospects and developing / delivering proposals, and establishing collaborative relationships with clients to understand their business and issues to better inform our consulting and to expand WTW's relationship into new service areas.
  • Contributing to the external visibility of WTW's brand through intellectual capital generation, drafting articles, and attending and speaking at relevant conferences.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 7 years of design-orientated broad-based rewards experience in consulting or highly consultative corporate environments, and a genuine interest in this field.
  • Significant knowledge and understanding of rewards programs and processes.
  • Creative, analytical and results-driven orientation, demonstrated through the ability to draw conclusions, themes, and trends from data analysis and communicate results effectively.
  • Proven experience successfully managing multiple, multi-faceted projects and producing quality deliverables on time and within budget.
  • An executive presence with polished and well-developed communication skills, including experience making presentations and "sell" ideas to colleagues and management.
  • Self-starter attitude and ability to work within ambiguity.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills and clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
    This position will remain posted for a minimum of three business days from the date posted or until a sufficient/appropriate candidate slate has been identified.

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements for various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role base on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual qualifications, education/profession certifications, experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).
Compensation
The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $125,000 to $170,000 per year. This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
