Evergreen Sign Company, a leader in custom architectural signage, fixtures, and installation solutions, is seeking an experiencedSignage Project Estimatorto join our growing team. This role is essential to ensuring accurate, competitive, and profitable project estimates that support our sales, design, and production operations.


Position Overview

The Signage Project Estimator is responsible for reviewing project specifications, analyzing drawings, and preparing detailed cost estimates for a wide range of signage projects. This position requires strong technical understanding, attention to detail, and effective communication with internal teams and external partners.


Key Responsibilities

  • Review project specifications, drawings, and site information to prepare detailed cost estimates
  • Obtain pricing from vendors and suppliers for materials and subcontracted services
  • Calculate labor, material, fabrication, equipment, and installation costs
  • Work closely with sales and project managers to develop accurate proposals and bids
  • Maintain estimating tools, templates, and cost databases
  • Ensure all estimates comply with local codes, permitting requirements, and safety standards


Typical Project Types

  • Illuminated building signage
  • Monument signs and pylon signs
  • ADAcompliant interior signage
  • Wayfinding systems for hospitals, campuses, and corporate facilities
  • Vinyl graphics and dimensional letter packages

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in signage estimating or related fields (construction, fabrication, manufacturing, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of signage materials, fabrication methods, and installation practices
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Excellent math, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities


Preferred Skills
