Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and driven Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic Project Management Team. This mid-level role is ideal for someone with 5โ€“15 years of experience in construction, architectural signage, or related industries who is ready to take ownership of complex projects and grow within a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for executing custom signage projects from post-sale through final installation. This includes managing scope, schedule, budget, and client expectations while working cross-functionally with our in-house design, estimating, fabrication, and installation teams. Typically assigned higher revenue projects with longer project life cycles.

Key Responsibilities

โ€ข Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients post-sale, ensuring proactive communication, transparency, and a positive customer experience throughout the project lifecycle.

โ€ข Project Planning: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, milestones, and budgets. Monitor performance to ensure deadlines and financial targets are met.

โ€ข Scope Coordination: Collaborate with design, engineering, and estimating to clarify scope of work, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment with client intent and production capabilities.

โ€ข Internal Collaboration: Lead cross-departmental coordination meetings to align timelines, prioritize deliverables, and resolve issues that impact schedule or budget.

โ€ข Documentation: Maintain thorough project documentation, including change orders, meeting notes, submittals, and status reports in the ERP system.

โ€ข Problem Solving: Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, or scope changes and lead resolution efforts with internal and external stakeholders.

โ€ข Installation Oversight: Coordinate final delivery and installation logistics, ensuring punch list completion, quality standards, and client satisfaction with the help of our installation team and nationwide partners. Occasional travel to project locations for SPM oversight and coordination.

โ€ข Continuous Improvement: Contribute to internal process improvements and support departmental initiatives aimed at improving quality, communication, and efficiency.

โ€ข PM segmented sub-team oversight; responsible for mentoring, coaching, and coordinating with small segmented PM team.

Qualifications

โ€ข 5โ€“15 years of project management experience in architectural signage, construction, or a related industry.

โ€ข Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

โ€ข Strong understanding of design, manufacturing, and installation processes.

โ€ข Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to lead meetings and interface confidently with clients and internal teams.

โ€ข Proficient in project management software and tools. Experience with ERP systems is a plus.

โ€ข PMP or CAPM certification is a plus but not required.

โ€ข Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and signage specifications.

โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
