Job description

Electrical Signage Project Manager - Signage or Construction Experience

Position Summary:
Serves as the primary point of contact for all client service activities while managing the successful execution of all client requests. Serves as a key liaison between client and internal support teams as well as field installation subcontractors that may be required.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Responsible for the following project management/tracking tasks:
  • Review proposals and request part numbers.
  • Prepare art requests for in house design team.
  • Prepare estimates and sales orders in Job Scope.
  • Request purchase orders for subcontractors.
  • Create and monitor job folders and project tracking spreadsheet.
  • Provide weekly report to management on quote activity and project completion.
  • Prepare project release checklists, sales order and drawing packages for handoff to manufacturing.
  • Qualify, select, and contract with outside installation services as may be necessary due to project locations or site specific requirements.
  • Monitor permit status and delivery requirements closely to ensure product shipping and/or installation dates meet deadlines.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (minimum qualifications):
  • Must have at last 3 years project coordinator experience or equivalent in a support role.
  • Must be able to read and have general understanding of architectural and construction drawings.
  • Computer proficient (Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat).
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Must have strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a dynamic workplace.
