Job description

Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. (SIA) has an immediate need for a Project Manager - Nuclear Projects. This position can be based remotely or onsite at one of our office locations.
The Project Manager will serve as a key member of the Nuclear Business Unit and be responsible for providing project management and staff development of various project teams. The Project Manager leads moderate-complexity nuclear projects from initiation to closeout, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, safety, and quality objectives are met. This role manages cross-functional teams and interfaces directly with clients and regulators, maintaining compliance with nuclear industry codes, standards, and safety culture principles.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead planning, execution, and closeout of nuclear projects in accordance with NRC, INPO, and site procedures
  • Manage budgets, schedules, risks, and quality plans for nuclear projects
  • Coordinate engineering, procurement, and construction teams for nuclear facility work
  • Serve as primary client interface and lead regulatory communications (as needed)
  • Approve change orders, invoices, and deliverables for compliance
  • Develop and maintain client relationships and meet project deliverable dates
  • Collaborate with other discipline areas within SI to support client needs

Required Skills/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields
  • 8-15 years of project management experience in nuclear, power generation, or regulated industrial projects
  • Proficiency with MS Project or Primavera P6
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • PMP certification, preferred
  • Experience in nuclear life extension, uprate, or advanced reactor projects, preferred
  • Knowledge of 10 CFR 50, 10 CFR 52, and ASME nuclear codes, preferred
  • Proficient in writing and reviewing technical reports and proposals, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 20% or more, upon request
  • Energy generation plant experience required
  • US Citizen or Permanent Residency

Pay Range:
The expected salary range for this role is $115,200 - $172,800 in Charlotte, NC and $119,360 - $179,040 in Denver, CO. Exact pay will be commensurate with experience and location.
