YOU MUST HAVE:             

  • Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Instrumentation Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field, and 6 years of experience with distributed control system architecture including controllers, HMIs, and field devices. 
  • Must have 6 years of experience with the following: PLC and Scada control logics, loop tuning; understanding of networking concepts like TCP, firewalls, remote access and VLANs; ability to troubleshoot, analyze system logs and diagnose faults and resolve software or hardware issues; Windows domain controller skills such as configuring domain policies and rules; Installation and upgradation of software on a live system; Experion PKS (Process Knowledge solution) knowledge; Preoperatory tools such as Diagnostic capture Tool, control Builder, configuration studio, Enabled service; C300 Controllers; Field Interface module; Controller I/Os; PGM (Profibus Gateway Module) and field experience.

Sr. Advanced Application Engineer for Honeywell International, Inc. (Houston, TX)

RESPONSIBILITES:          

  • Deliver remote support and services remotely and effectively.
  • Execute GTAC (Global Technical assistance center) and other standard audit checklists for Experion system.
  • Facilitate issue identification and analysis.
  • Report out to regional stakeholders, work closely with the global team.
  • Proactively manage and respond to customer questions, issues.
  • Maintain strong case documentation and follow up with Assurance 360 Performance Managers to ensure that technical recommendations effectively resolve customer issues.
  • Support A360 Performance Managers to enable remote solutions at customer sites making sure the PSC value is consistently demonstrated with each deliverable.
  • Enable services Installation and Migration.
  • System maintenance and reporting incident avoidance case.
  • Generating Knowledge article.
  • Monitor Enabled services Alerts.
  •  Data collections for Experion Audits.
  • Conducting Audits.
  • Troubleshooting and fixing issues.
  • Missing data validation in Enabled services dashboard.
  • Reviewing Audits reports with performance manager and customer.
  • Maintaining the RAIL for action items.
  • Updating the Asset lifecycle management.
  • Delivering priority notifications to customers and Performance managers.
  • Type of system worked on is Distributed control system (DCS), on the Experion (Product) PKS control system.
  • Responsible for doing the Preventive maintenance and providing proactive support to ensure the system availability and reduce unplanned shutdowns via system audits and strong technical support process and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Engineering occupation could come under control system engineer, Reliability engr or Automation engr as involved in designing, implementing and maintaining Control system Like Experion PKS.
  • Uses system diagnostics, asset performance tools and predictive analytics to support DCS Longevity.
  • Troubleshoot automation faults, optimize control logic and support uptime.
