Job description

We need a skilled finisher who can mud and tape drywall to a paint-ready standard and lay tile with proper waterproofing underlayment. Start part-time with a real path to full-time hours as our work grows. If you do quality work and show up ready — we want you on our team.

What You'll Do

  • Tape, mud, and finish drywall to a paint-ready standard
  • Apply multiple coats, feather edges, and sand smooth
  • Patch and repair drywall including water-damage areas
  • Install ceramic, porcelain, and floor/wall tile
  • Prepare and waterproof underlayment before tile installation
  • Mix, spread, and comb mortar and thin-set to proper coverage
  • Cut tile accurately and finish grout and sealing to a clean standard
  • Keep jobsite clean and meet project deadlines

What We're Looking For

  • Proven hands-on experience in both drywall finishing and tile installation
  • Solid understanding of waterproofing underlayment (Schluter, RedGard, Wedi, or similar)
  • Works independently without constant supervision
  • Shows up on time, every time — reliability is non-negotiable
  • Reliable transportation to St. Louis metro jobsites
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation

Bonus Points

  • Experience in residential rehab, restoration, or apartment turnovers
  • Can match drywall textures (knockdown, orange peel, smooth)
  • Comfortable with bathroom, kitchen, and shower tile installations
