Job description

Green Mountain Design Build – Now Hiring a Master Tile & Finish Carpenter

At Green Mountain Design Build, we don’t just build projects—we create homes and spaces that are meant to last for generations. We’re looking for an exceptional craftsman who shares our commitment to quality, precision, and professionalism.

This position is for an experienced Tile & Finish Carpentry Specialist who takes pride in producing flawless work. If your standards are higher than everyone else’s and you’re passionate about the details, we want to meet you.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Custom tile installation, including luxury showers, waterproofing systems, shower pans, backsplashes, fireplaces, and flooring.
  • Finish carpentry including trim, crown molding, custom millwork, built-ins, doors, paneling, cabinetry installation, and architectural details.
  • Working on high-end residential renovations and custom homes throughout Southern Vermont.
  • Collaborating with a team that values craftsmanship over shortcuts.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of professional experience in tile installation and/or finish carpentry.
  • Expert knowledge of layout, waterproofing, and premium installation techniques.
  • Ability to read plans, solve problems independently, and maintain exceptional attention to detail.
  • Professional attitude, excellent communication, and respect for clients’ homes.
  • Reliable transportation and your own professional-grade tools.
  • Someone who shows up on time, takes ownership of their work, and treats every project like it’s their own home.
