We are seeking an experienced Tile Setter to join our team for residential and high-end projects. The ideal candidate must have proven experience with proper slope preparation, waterproofing systems, and precision tile installation. This role requires a high level of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a crew.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform full tile installations including floors, walls, showers, and wet areas
Execute proper slope prep for shower pans and drainage systems
Install waterproofing systems (e.g., membranes, pans, liners)
Prepare substrates (mud work, leveling, backer board, crack isolation)
Cut, set, grout, and finish tile to high-quality standards
Read and follow plans, layouts, and specifications
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
Requirements:
Valid DL with clean driving record.
Minimum 3 years of professional tile-setting experience
Strong experience with slope prep and drainage compliance
Proficiency with mud work and waterproofing systems
Ability to work with porcelain, ceramic, stone, and large-format tile
Own basic tools required for tile installation
Reliable transportation and punctuality
Ability to lift heavy materials and work on job sites for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in high-end residential or custom work
Knowledge of Schluter, Laticrete, or similar systems
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
