As Director of U.S. Channel Management, you are the market integrator behind that success. You'll connect global vision to U.S. execution- ensuring our products, pricing, and positioning come together seamlessly across consumer, professional, and animal categories. This is a role for a leader who thrives in complexity, someone who can see the big picture, align cross-functional teams, and translate strategy into real-world results across shelves, screens, and salons.

This position may sit in the Sterling Headquarters location or our Rosemont, IL location.

What You'll Do

You'll lead the strategy and execution engine that powers Wahl's U.S. commercial success. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Lead the U.S. Channel Management organization across Consumer and Professional divisions.
  • Translate global product roadmaps and brand strategies into unified U.S. commercial strategies tailored to each division and channel to drive growth and profit, and avoid dilution and channel conflict
  • Ensure clarity of category ownership and portfolio boundaries between Consumer and Professional.
  • Build a high-performing, inclusive team by setting clear expectations, hiring and developing top talent, coaching managers, and driving accountability and cross-functional execution.
  • Serve as primary interface between U.S. Channel Management and Global Product and Brand Marketing and US Commercial execution. Responsibilities will include sharing regional insights, risks, opportunities that can shape global strategies and roadmaps. Highly collaborative interface that partners with global to ensure success for both global and regional outputs.
  • Oversee Own SKU localization, assortment prioritization, and 80/20 optimization across divisions.
  • Monitor U.S. pricing ladders, margin architecture, MAP adherence and promotional guardrails by analyzing performance, flagging risks, and recommending changes to achieve intended results.
  • Own U.S. launch readiness standards - No product goes live without content tools, training, and retailer playbooks.
  • Align divisional launch calendars and cross-channel go to market plans to avoid internal competition.
  • Consolidate U.S. sell-in, sell-through POS, shopper insights, and competitive intelligence for team and executive reporting.
  • Oversee central enablement functions (training, analytics, retail media, demand planning) as needed.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Global teams to ensure aligned priorities, clear ownership, and seamless execution.
  • Strong relationship builders as well as communicator to team, peers and executives.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years in channel management, category leadership, or commercial strategy.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred. Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
  • Strong global collaboration capability.
  • Deep understanding of retail, eCommerce, Professional/Barber channels, and B2B structures.
  • Demonstrated strength in pricing, margin management, promotional guardrails and MAP governance.
  • Strong analytical skills using POS/sell-through, syndicated data, and shopper insights to drive decisions
  • Experience building and leading teams including hiring, coaching, developing, and driving accountability.
