Responsibilities
Your Role:
As a Shopper Insights Manager, you will be responsible for owning and delivering shopper insights workstreams for assigned retailers, channels, and categories. This role translates shopper data and insights into clear, actionable recommendations that support category growth, assortment, and activation decisions. The role partners closely with Sales, Category Management, Business Units, eCommerce, and Analytics to ensure insights are delivered on time, in full, and with clear business implications.

  • Own and execute defined shopper insights workstreams for assigned retailers, channels, and categories, delivering insights end-to-end from problem definition through recommendation.
  • Translate shopper and retailer data into clear, actionable insights that inform category strategy, assortment, pricing, activation, and growth decisions.
  • Manage the development and execution of shopper insights plans and roadmaps for assigned accounts, ensuring alignment to category and retailer priorities.
  • Prioritize insights deliverables based on business needs, timelines, and impact, with guidance from senior leadership.
  • Serve as a shopper insights partner in customer-facing engagements, including category reviews, JBPs, and retailer meetings, supporting insight-led storytelling and discussion.
  • Present insights clearly and confidently to internal stakeholders and retail partners, tailoring messaging to the audience and decision context.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Category Management, Business Units, eCommerce, and Analytics to ensure insights are integrated into commercial plans.
  • Identify emerging shopper trends and performance signals, flagging risks and opportunities for further exploration.
  • Use insights to support innovation, assortment changes, and activation strategies, providing clear implications and recommendations.
  • Ensure insights outputs are accurate, timely, and decision-oriented, with strong attention to detail and data integrity.
  • Manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously, acting as project manager for assigned initiatives.
  • Continuously improve processes, tools, and ways of working to increase efficiency and impact of insights delivery.

Qualifications
We need you to have:
  • BA/BS degree in Sales, Marketing, Finance or related field
  • 3+ years of related professional Shopper Insights, Consumer Insights, Category Management/Analytical role in a CPG company or brokerage firm
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Proficient in syndicated data such as Nielsen, Symphony, Circana/IRI.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers

USD $111,000.00 - USD $160,950.00 /A
Bonus Eligibility
Role is eligible for 14% annual incentive provided the business meets financial goals and the individual meets their performance goals, subject to plan administration guidelines.
