We are searching for a Senior Shopper Insights Manager to join our team in Bentonville.

Responsibilities

Your Role:

The Senior Shopper Insights Manager is a senior leader responsible for owning the shopper insights strategy for the Mass channel. This role anticipates shopper and retailer shifts, translates insights into clear strategic recommendations, and influences decisions across Sales, Business Units, eCommerce, and Analytics. The role operates with a high degree of autonomy and visibility, serving as the senior shopper insights thought leader for the Mass channel and assigned categories.

  • Anticipate emerging shopper, retailer and channel shifts and proactively frame implications for category growth, assortment and activation.
  • Lead the development and ongoing evolution of the shopper insights roadmap for assigned retailers and channels, ensuring alignment to category growth objectives and retailer strategies.
  • Prioritize insights initiatives based on business impact, timing and strategic relevance.
  • Ensure insights are forward-looking, decision-oriented and clearly tied to business outcomes.
  • Serve as the senior shopper insights lead in Mass channel engagements, shaping the narrative and influencing retailer decision-making through insight-led storytelling.
  • Lead insight-based discussions in customer-facing meetings, JBPs and category reviews.
  • Act as a thought leader across the BUs, Sales, eCommerce and Analytics by translating insights into clear implications, tradeoffs and recommendations.
  • Use insights to inform innovation, assortment expansion and new activation strategies.
  • Frame opportunities with clear business rationale, risks, and upside potential.
  • Provide clear point-of-view recommendations and make insight-based calls when tradeoffs exist.
  • Demonstrate managerial courage by elevating risks, challenging assumptions, and advocating for the strongest shopper-led solutions.

Qualifications

We need you to have:

  • BA/BS degree in Sales, Marketing, Finance or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in Shopper/Consumer Insights, Category Management, or Analytics within a CPG, brokerage, or similar environment
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Deep understanding of Mass channel shopper behavior, retail dynamics, and category decision drivers; strong command of how insights inform assortment, pricing, activation, and growth strategy.
  • Proficient in syndicated data such as Nielsen, Symphony, Circana/IRI.
  • Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing teams; able to prioritize through others, challenge assumptions, and influence senior stakeholders with managerial courage.
