Job description

Shipping & Production Associate

AXL Advanced is hiring a Shipping & Production Associate to support our fast-growing fulfillment and manufacturing operation. This is a shipping-first, hybrid role designed for someone who takes ownership, initiative, and accuracy seriously and who is genuinely passionate about modern tactical nylon gear. Your primary responsibility will be order fulfillment and shipping, ensuring customer orders go out correctly, cleanly, and on time. You'll also be cross-trained on the production floor ("the pit") to support assembly, inspection, and packing as needed. This role is ideal for a self-starter who can manage multiple tasks, solve problems as they arise, and maintain a high level of attention to detail without constant oversight.

We want people who don't just like tactical gear they live it. If your closet looks like a mini tactical showroom, you constantly upgrade your setup, and you can talk in detail about Crye vs. Ferro vs. Shaw, you'll fit right in. Extra points if you've used AXL products or can show us your current loadouts.

Shipping & Fulfillment (Primary Responsibility)

  • Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Process orders daily using ShipStation
  • Prepare domestic and international shipments, labels, and documentation
  • Inspect outgoing products to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shipping workspace
  • Identify and correct errors before orders ship
  • Manage multiple shipping priorities and adjust quickly as needs change

Production & Warehouse Support (Hybrid)

  • Assist with assembly, inspection, and packing of tactical nylon products
  • Support inventory organization and basic counts
  • Help maintain workflow between production and shipping
  • Cross-train with existing shipping staff to ensure continuity and coverage
  • Step in where needed to keep operations moving

Required Qualifications

  • Experience and passion for tactical nylon gear
  • Proven ability to work as a self-starter with minimal supervision

  • Solid problem-solving skills and willingness to take ownership of issues
