Description

The NetSuite Technical Project Manager leads Something Inked's NetSuite implementation from kickoff through go-live and post-go-live stabilization, and owns the project plan, scope, and technical workstreams that bring finance, order management, inventory, warehouse operations, purchasing, projects, and eCommerce onto NetSuite. This role coordinates Oracle NetSuite Professional Services, integration partners, and internal process owners, and is accountable for an on-time, on-scope cutover and a clean transition to internal ownership.

Essential Job Functions

  • Owns the integrated project plan as the single source of truth, including milestones, critical path, dependencies, and weekly status reporting.
  • Actively drives and motivates Something Inked workstreams and business process owners across all phases of implementation.
  • Facilitates the extraction, aggregation, and cleansing of data from multiple legacy systems, including QuickBooks, Xebra, and Finale, governing sample and full-load gates, validation, and data-owner sign-off.
  • Manages delivery of NetSuite customizations including sales-order scripting, order import, charge logic, and consolidated purchase orders, from requirements through acceptance and regression testing.
  • Coordinates and sequences the NetSuite Warehouse Management (WMS) roll out across multiple warehouses, including bins, picking strategies, returns, cycle counting, label printing, and device readiness.
  • Leads the integration workstream across NSIP and connectors (Shopify, OnSite/ShopWorks, ShipStation, Avalara, Paycom, Asana, and banks), including design review, build coordination, field mapping, and end-to-end testing.
  • Manages scope and change control against the Statement of Work, including change-order discipline with Oracle NetSuite.
  • Coordinates Oracle NetSuite Professional Services, integration partners, internal process owners, and the data migration leads across all workstreams.
  • Leads User Acceptance Testing, including test-case readiness with process owners, defect triage and severity, retesting, and a go/no-go recommendation supported by evidence.
  • Owns the cutover runbook and go-live readiness checklist and orchestrates production cutover.
  • Transitions the system to an internal support model before Oracle's post-go-live support period ends and establishes the ongoing change-control and release cadence.

Requirements

Skills and Requirements

  • 3-5 years' experience implementing NetSuite ERP, including at least one full-cycle NetSuite implementation through go-live.
  • Working knowledge of core NetSuite processes: order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, financials, inventory, projects, and resource management.
  • Strong sense of ownership and urgency, with the ability to hold teams and vendors to their commitments.
  • Collaborative in a multidisciplinary, fast-paced environment, with the ability to work well independently.
  • Direct experience managing a technical workstream including data migration, integrations, or customizations.
  • Detail-oriented with disciplined follow-through; organized and effective under deadline pressure.
  • Experience coordinating an implementation partner (Oracle NetSuite Professional Services or a systems integrator) alongside internal cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ownership of a project plan, scope and change control, and a risk/issue log on a delivered go live.
  • User Acceptance Testing and cutover experience, including running a go/no-go decision on evidence.
  • Proficiency in project/work-management tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project).
  • Strong, professional written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain technical status in plain language to executives and operators.
  • NetSuite OneWorld / multi-subsidiary implementation experience preferred.
  • NSIP, connector, or middleware integration delivery (Shopify, ShipStation, Avalara, Paycom, EDI/SPS Commerce) a plus.
