Job description

Position Summary:

We have an immediate opening for a Shop Hand to support our team with a wide range of tasks related to fabrication, manufacturing, and general warehouse operations. This entry-level role offers opportunities for advancement for motivated individuals who are eager to learn and contribute to a safe and efficient work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both inside and outside the shop

• Perform general grounds maintenance, including mowing, edging, trimming, and weed control on all company properties

• Assist with equipment maintenance, including cleaning, washing, and basic servicing

• Prepare equipment and tools for use, including cleaning, painting, and loading

• Safely operate small tools, power tools, and lawn equipment in accordance with company policies and safety procedures

• Develop familiarity with methods, practices, tools, materials, and safety procedures necessary to complete assigned tasks

• Work cooperatively with team members and maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude

• Perform other duties as assigned by a manager or supervisor

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred, but not required)

• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and perform tasks involving standing, sitting, squatting, stooping, kneeling, climbing ladders, and bending in awkward positions for extended periods

• Basic welding knowledge is a plus, but not required
