Summary:
The shop worker II will complete all tasks related to loading and unloading field trucks. Maintain organization of supplies and shop area to provide a clean and efficient working environment. This role will train and mentor less experienced shop workers.
Duties amp; Responsibilities:
  • Properly and safely verify quantities, load, and unload field trucks with required supplies for efficient work on the jobs.
  • Prepare and assemble signs, barricades and other equipment for job sites as needed.
  • Repair and maintain signage and traffic control supplies to ensure they are in proper working order.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly supply lot and shop work environment returning tools and equipment to designated locations.
  • Assist in other areas as needed to maintain shop area by cleaning and organizing.
  • Other projects and initiatives that drive organizational goals and results.
Supervisor Responsibilities:
  • None
Education, Certifications amp; Qualifications:
  • HS Diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of experience required.
  • Valid For Hire Endorsement (Indiana) or Class C license (Illinois) with acceptable driving record.
  • Maintain a Company forklift license.
Knowledge, Skills amp; Abilities:
  • Skilled with hand tools preferred
  • Ability to follow all safety rules and communicate instances where safety was not followed.
