Job Description:
We are currently seeking a friendly and outgoing Rental/Pro Shop Associate to join our team. The Rental/Pro Shop Associate will be responsible for assisting customers with boat rentals, equipment purchases, and providing expert advice on gear selection. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment surrounded by fellow water sports enthusiasts.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting the appropriate rental equipment or gear from the pro shop.
  • Process rental reservations, including collecting payment, completing rental agreements, and providing safety instructions.
  • Ensure all rental equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and sanitized before and after each use.
  • Assist customers in the pro shop by providing product information, recommendations, and facilitating sales transactions.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in restocking merchandise as needed.
  • Provide basic instruction and guidance to customers on equipment usage and safety procedures.
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating rental activities, including scheduling, boat preparation, and maintenance.
  • Uphold a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment, preferably in the recreational or marine industry.
  • Knowledge of boating, watersports, and related equipment is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with customers and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
