About the Role

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Yard & Shop Associate to support daily shop and yard operations. This hands-on role is essential to preparing equipment, maintaining organization, and supports the overall flow of operational needs.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in an outdoor environment.

What You'll Do

  • Safely move materials and equipment throughout the yard and shop
  • Operate forklifts to load and unload equipment and materials
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance and general facility upkeep
  • Assist with sandblasting, pressure washing, and surface preparation
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment
  • Build wire brushes and swabs as needed
  • Assist with assembly, tear-down, and cleaning of tubes and shafts
  • Clean tube faces, bearings, column pipes, and related components using chemicals and pressure washing
  • Inspect shaft couplings and identify irregularities
  • Prepare equipment and materials for field technicians
  • Organize field equipment and materials for field technicians
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

Required Qualification

  • Excellent attendance and reliability
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly and perform physical tasks (bending, climbing, stooping, standing)
  • Mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn
  • Ability to work outdoor in varying weather conditions, dust, and noise
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to follow directions, safety rules, and company procedures
  • Willingness to accept feedback and work effectively with a team
  • Must pass a drug screen and background check
  • Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification (company-provided training)

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to obtain a CDL Class A or B license, with endorsement
  • Ability to meet DOT requirements, including medical certification
