Job description

Under the direction of the Titan Shops' supervisors, store managers, and Service Leads, the Service Associate will be responsible for providing great customer service, completing all assigned tasks accurately, and working in different departments in the store as needed. Daily tasks may include, but are not limited to, assisting customers on the sales floor and at a register, restocking product, fulfilling online orders, answering phone calls and/or emails, cleaning and recovering the sales floor, assisting with receiving in-bound and out-bound inventory in the warehouse, and collaborating with fellow coworkers and supervisors to ensure the success of the store's day-to-day operations. OUR MISSION: As a division of CSUF Auxiliary Services, the mission of Titan Shops is to support the academic goals and strategies of California State University, Fullerton.

Titan Shops is dedicated to providing students, faculty, staff, alumni, and fans with excellent customer service by offering quality products at competitive prices, while identifying new ways to enhance the campus community. All proceeds from Titan Shops operations are used to fund programs and services benefiting CSUF. Operate the cash register in an accurate and efficient manner while using the proper cash handling techniques. Assist customers on the sales floor, at the register, over the phone, and/or via email.

Restock product throughout the day and recover sales floor between customer rushes. Fulfill online orders and assist with maintaining the Titan Shops website. Assist with processing in-bound and out-bound inventory in the warehouse.

Utilize store software - MS Suite, NetSuite, and POS platform. Maintain tidiness and cleanliness standards of your work area, as well as surrounding areas. Work in accordance with all store safety guidelines.

Assist in maintaining proper inventory control. Responsible for being proactive in assisting other areas in the store as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to be present and prompt to all shifts. Strong customer service skills.

Ability to work and collaborate successfully with all staff. Must be a motivated and proactive worker. Must have a physical Titan Card during all shifts.

Must submit/attach current and Fall 2026 semester work availability. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Cash handling and point-of-sale operation experience. Customer service experience.

Retail experience. Basic computer knowledge - MS Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel). EDUCATION: Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Lifting of up to 60lbs.; long-term periods of standing, bending, and twisting; frequent computer use.
