Our client in Canonsburg PA is currently seeking a Machine Shop Associate
Duties:
- Operation of Various Grinders/Saws/Drill Press/Misc Equipment
- Utilize measuring devices ie: Micrometers, Calipers
- Reading and understanding of engineering prints, dimensioning and tolerances
- Verify conformance of finished work to specifications
- Perform daily preventative maintenance on various machines/equipment
- Responsible for maintaining a clean work area
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certification in machining from technical/trade school a plus
- Experience in machining is a plus but not required
- Adequate math and analytical skills
- Mechanic aptitude and dexterity
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
- Ability to follow direction from team lead or Production Manager
- Work in a safe manner following company policies
