Job Summary:
Responsible for operating forklift in warehouse observing all safety regulations and ensuring all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality standards are met while maintaining the efficient flow of product through the production process. Schedules and confirms all receiving and shipping for site. Provides administrative support for this area including the communication, paperwork and system data entry. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duties assigned to best serve the company.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and execute daily shipping and receiving activities to ensure the accurate and timely movement of materials and finished goods.
  • Schedule, confirm, and monitor inbound and outbound shipments with carriers, vendors, and internal departments.
  • Check in drivers and coordinate incoming and outgoing trucks, including dock assignments, loading, unloading, and shipment documentation.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain shipping and receiving paperwork and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Perform system data entry related to shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse transactions.
  • Provide administrative support for warehouse operations, including communication, recordkeeping, paperwork, reporting, and data entry.
  • Review and interpret shipping schedules, orders, inventory information, and other operational documentation quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate shipment status, delays, discrepancies, shortages, damages, or other issues to appropriate internal departments and external partners.
  • Assist with inventory control activities and help research and resolve shipping, receiving, and inventory discrepancies.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as needed to safely move, stage, load, unload, and store materials and finished goods.
  • Follow all company safety policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), quality standards, and applicable warehouse procedures.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized shipping and receiving area.
  • Work collaboratively with Production, Customer Service, Logistics, Quality, and other departments to support operational and customer requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to best serve the company and support business objectives.
