Job description

Shipping and Receiving Coordinator The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator is responsible for coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying inventory, and maintaining accurate records. This role ensures materials are properly received, stored, and shipped in accordance with company procedures while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. This is a Direct Hire opportunity located near Barrington, IL. Responsibilities:
  • Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and enter receipt information into the system.
  • Load, unload, and move materials using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or carts.
  • Prepare and pack outgoing orders, ensuring accuracy, proper labeling, and compliance with shipping requirements.
  • Generate shipping documentation, including packing lists, shipping labels, and bills of lading.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records by tracking incoming and outgoing materials and performing regular counts.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external carriers to ensure timely delivery and resolve shipment issues.
  • Inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
  • Organize and store materials in designated locations within the warehouse.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment in compliance with company and safety standards.
Qualifications:
