Job description

Job Summary

The Shipping & Receiving/Inventory Control Admin supports daily shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities within Tempe Operations. This position prepares and processes shipments, receives incoming materials, maintains accurate inventory records in NAV, and helps organize and maintain the Inventory Control room. A key responsibility is reorganizing the Inventory Control room and entering the corresponding material locations into NAV so physical inventory locations match system records.

Essential Job Functions

·   Prepare and process domestic and international shipments.

·   Verify quantities, part numbers, weights, dimensions, shipping instructions, and customer requirements.

·   Prepare packing slips, shipping labels, and related shipping documentation.

·   Process shipments using approved carriers such as FedEx, UPS, and DHL.

·   Receive incoming materials and verify quantities and documentation.

·   Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials.

·   Complete receiving transactions in NAV.

·   Reorganize and maintain the Inventory Control room.

·   Create and enter corresponding inventory locations in NAV.

·   Ensure physical inventory locations match NAV records.

·   Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory counts.

·   Research and report inventory discrepancies.

·   Maintain accurate inventory, shipping, and receiving records.

·   Keep shipping, receiving, and inventory areas clean and organized.

·   Monitor shipping and packaging supplies and report replenishment needs.

·   Follow company safety, quality, and housekeeping procedures.

·   Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

·   High school diploma or equivalent.

·   Previous shipping and receiving experience required.

·   Previous inventory control or stockroom experience preferred.

·   Experience using NAV preferred.

·   Basic computer and data-entry skills.
