Overview

The Night Shift Shipping Manager manages staff, equipment, facilities, inventory, order processing, delivery preparations, and order pulling. In addition, he/she participates in the recruiting, hiring, and training of new employees and approves timecards, administers performance reviews, and applies disciplinary measures as appropriate, all while coaching and developing their employees to be successful at Chadwell Supply

What you will need

  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and MS Outlook).
  • Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 60 pounds.
  • Sitting and/or standing for extended periods of time.
  • Climbing stairs and/or ladders.
  • Bending, stooping, and carrying products up and down steps, stairs, ramps, and walkways.

How you will make an Impact

  • Manage all branch and Renovation order processing and delivery preparations. 
  • Manage all warehouse equipment, facility property, and ensure all warehouse equipment is inspected at least daily. 
  • Manage driver returned products from customers ensuring product returns match the documentation provided.
  • Oversee product needs and notify proper department of restocking needs.
  • Work with management to develop innovative approaches to resolve increased delivery distribution needs and requirements.
  • Oversee all Renovation order processing and packaging.
  • Oversee all FedEx /LTL processing and shipping.
