Job description

Warehouse Manager
Location: Northwest Raleigh, NC
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM
Our client is looking for a Warehouse Manager to lead daily operations within a 24,000 sq. ft. distribution facility. This person will oversee a team of three warehouse employees. Responsibilities include:
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of warehouse employees to meet productivity, accuracy, and customer service goals
- Schedule and assign work, monitor progress, and approve time in accordance with company policy
- Oversee all receiving, order fulfillment, inventory control, and shipping functions
- Optimize warehouse layout and ensure all product movements are recorded in the operating system
- Ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time
- Ensure walk-in customers receive immediate, professional assistance
- Handle cash and credit card transactions in compliance with company policies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 10+ years of warehouse experience, 2+ years of leadership experience
- Forklift certification
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work on your feet in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment
