Job Summary:
The Inside Seller is a new-business focused sales role responsible for driving M2's growth by identifying, prospecting, and qualifying new shipper and customer opportunities. Working closely with the Sales Manager/Director, you will build and manage a high-volume outbound pipeline, introduce M2's transportation and supply chain services to prospective customers, and lay the groundwork for long-term customer relationships. This role is ideal for a motivated self-starter who is coachable, resilient, and eager to build a career in sales within a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization.

The Position:
  • Prospect and generate new business leads through outbound calls, emails, and other channels to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Conduct high-volume outbound cold calling to identify and qualify potential shipper and customer prospects across target industries
  • Research target accounts and key decision-makers to build and prioritize a qualified prospect list
  • Clearly and compellingly present M2's transportation and supply chain services value proposition to prospective customers
  • Schedule and coordinate introductory meetings and calls between qualified prospects and the Sales Manager/Director or Account Executives
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of prospecting activity, lead status, and pipeline health within M2's CRM system
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly activity metrics (calls, emails, meetings scheduled) and lead conversion goals
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager/Director on target account lists, outreach messaging, and prospecting campaign strategy
  • Partner with Marketing on lead generation campaigns and promptly follow up on inbound marketing-qualified leads
  • Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to continuously refine prospecting approach
  • Share feedback from prospect conversations to help sharpen sales messaging and target market strategy
