The Shipping Coordinator

Pay: $17 – $22/hour (based on experience)


Monday – Friday hours between 7:30AM – 5:30PM (schedule will be determined upon hire)


Job Summary

The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for managing and overseeing the daily shipping and distribution operations. This role ensures that all outgoing shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule shipments with carriers and logistics providers
  • Prepare shipping documents (bills of lading, packing lists, invoices, labels)
  • Verify accuracy of orders before shipment (quantities, destinations, special instructions)
  • Track shipments and resolve any delays or delivery issues
  • Communicate with warehouse, production, and customer service teams
  • Maintain shipping records and update systems with shipment details
  • Ensure compliance with domestic and international shipping regulations
  • Negotiate freight rates when applicable and monitor shipping costs
  • Assist with inventory coordination and stock movement as needed
