HTI is seeking a Shipping & Logistics Coordinator for a global leader in industrial furnace manufacturing. This position is responsible for overseeing all in-house packaging, shipping, and logistics activities to ensure materials, components, and finished goods are delivered accurately, safely, and on time. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment, strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes, and the ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced operation. This position is in Pineville, NC, and is Direct Hire, M-F 1st shift. The pay range is $19-$22/hr depending on experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Experience in international shipping and logistics preferred. Experience with UPS, FedEx, DHL, and international freight providers. Forklift experience or certification preferred Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems preferred (Global Shop a plus) Ability to build wooden skid pallets; carpentry or woodworking experience preferred. Ability to safely lift up to 30 lbs. Motivated self-starter, but also a good collaborator. What Your Role Will Look Like: The Shipping & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing daily packaging and shipping operations, ensuring all shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. This role also supports the movement of materials and supplies throughout the manufacturing workspace to meet production schedules. Prepare, coordinate, and process 2–10 shipments per day using carriers such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, and international freight providers. Build and prepare wooden skid pallets for large equipment shipments (approximately every three weeks). Ensure all shipments meet company standards, customer requirements, and international shipping regulations, including proper documentation. Maintain accurate and organized shipping records, tracking information, and related documentation. Collaborate closely with stockroom personnel and production teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Utilize ERP systems (Global Shop preferred) to track, report, and manage shipment activity. Support shipping and receiving activities including scheduling, planning, and execution. Ensure all packaged items meet customer orders and requirements. Develop and follow best practices to ensure all items are shipped safely and on time. Contribute to improving efficiency for material handling and shipping procedures. Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, time-sensitive environment. Communicate effectively with multiple departments regarding shipment status and priorities. Contribute to overall business operations as needed to support company goals and objectives.
